Dr Dario Luis Banegas is Lecturer in TESOL in the School of Education, University of Strathclyde (UK) and an associate fellow with the University of Warwick (UK). He continues to be connected to initial English language teacher education programmes in Argentina. Dario is an active member of teacher associations in Argentina and the UK. As a former Hornby scholar, he is part of the Decentring ELT initiative supported by The Hornby Trust. He has published articles and edited volumes with international publishers on topics such as language teacher education, diversity, action research, identity, motivation, and writing. His main teaching and research interests are: CLIL, teacher development, action research, and social justice in education.
