Do you want to impact the community, advocate for ELT in the country or have some ideas on how to improve bi/multilingualism?

This session is for you!

Design Lab

Design Thinking is a very valuable methodology to find solutions to real problems and to ignite ideas in the entrepreneurship world. TESOL Colombia introduces the concept to ELT and creates a new activity to be included in the conference program. Through the methodology, participants will generate innovative ideas and propose solutions to the current problem of teaching / learning English. Groups will compete to win the prize for the best idea/solution.

This activity requires a pre-registration as seats are limited, the completion of a 4-hour training workshop before the event, the participation in the 8-hour session (Challenge Experience) the day before the conference, and the registration and payment to TESOL Colombia IV.

No extra fees will be charged. This extremely fascinating activity is included in the Registration Fee for the conference.

All ideas will be collected in a report that will be presented as the experts´ insights on English teaching/learning solutions.

Be part of
the solution!

The Challenge Experience is a great opportunity not only to learn how to use the Design Thinking methodology for solving problems but to positively impact the English teaching/learning issues we face in the field.

Learning from the
business world

Taking concepts commonly used in the business and entrepreneurship fields to be implemented in the academic world, will enrich our ELT profession.
