The inclusion of Technology Enhanced Learning in the curriculum has led to benefits such as independent learning and practice, as well as self-management of learning processes. In this vein, self-access materials play a key role as tools that facilitate such learning situations. This short article considers various pedagogical and technological factors to create a basic tool kit that teachers can use to design self-access materials intended to help improve reading skills.
